GCSE Results Day 2010

For the eighth year in succession, Shorefields Technology College has seen continued improvements in its GCSE results.
This year 80% of students achieved 5 A*-C grades. This significantly surpasses the National average. Arise of 13 percentage points from 67% in 2009.

GCSE results (including English and Maths) also rose by ten percentage points.

"I am absolutely delighted by the efforts of the students in this school and the huge success that they have achieved. This is an endorsement of the radical change to teaching and learning in the school and the continuation of this, will be the cornerstone for greater improvements in the coming years.
