OCR NATIONAL CERTIFICATE IN ICT - 1 YEAR COURSE

This is a one year course, and comprises of six units of work, one of which is compulsory. The remaining five units are chosen from the following menu.

Assessment Procedures

All Units are assessed and verified internally. There are no exams. There is a 3 point grading for each unit scale, pass, merit and distinction, and each has its own criteria to meet. Points will be allocated accordingly. The work is externally verified.

Teaching and Learning Styles

The course is vocational and, as such, every effort will be made to use appropriate work/training providers. The teaching styles will vary from didactic, to facilitating, to instruction, role play and supported self study. Individual and group tutorials will be given in order to help students reach their agreed targets.
