Whichever route students decide to take they will receive help and advice from a variety of sources; parents, sixth form tutors, publications available in the Careers Library and the Careers’ Connexions Officer.

Besides attaining vocational qualifications each student will have a record of achievement built up on a termly basis which will consist of:

Punctuality, attendance, motivation, relationships with staff and peer group and skills acquired.

Progress is recorded through regular assessment.

Participation in Sixth Form activities, specific tasks undertaken, leisure activities, hobbies and interests, sporting achievements and community work.

In addition each student will have the opportunities to receive a mock interview, with instruction in interview techniques, careers counselling and personal interviews.

All leavers will receive information concerning examination results, lists of useful addresses, leaflets about personal taxation, and social security.

We aim to give students the best possible preparation for the future!!
