Internet Safety

There is a clear code of conduct for correct use of the internet, along with the safe and secure usage of computer equipment. To support this, all internet use in the school is monitored by the Securus system. Abuse of the internet puts the user and others at risk and will not be tolerated by the school. Members of staff must only use their school e-mail accounts for any electronic communications. Social networking is increasingly popular with students, but carries significant risks- consequently these are also monitored by our system along with the physical vigilance of staff. No member of staff may use any social networking sites to communicate with students, nor can they communicate with students through a non school e-mail account or messaging systems of any kind.
