Equipment

Some areas of the school are prone to having more potential problems than others- subjects where there is practical equipment such as DT, Science, ICT and PE are examples. Science have a Health and Safety passport in their planners. Here technicians work to ensure all equipment is safe and fit for purpose. Staff will report and ensure any potentially faulty equipment is placed ‘out of use and secure’ prior to a suitable repair being carried out. Again, students must report any potential problems they see, immediately to a member of staff.
