I will start the ball rolling with our film reviews.
This film shows Spencer Tracey in one of his all time best roles. The courtroom scenes are incredibly powerful and even if the film is now quite old the sentiments and values hold good for us today.
Essentially, the John Scopes trial of 1925 make us consider the issues of tolerance and a willingness to accept that others have values and beliefs that must be given an opportunity to be spoken.
The famous 'Monkey trial' shows just what views and bigotry comes out when we seek to stop others, we don't agree with having their right to free speech.
Anyone watching this film will think of many comparisons with issues we face in our lives today.
