A panel of students has been chosen to participate in the interview process for the new Headteacher of Shorefields Technology College. This panel will represent all of Shorefields' students, because of their outstanding and exemplary behaviour and attitude.
The panel have been thinking about, and discussing, questions that they feel are important for the school, that will help them decide who they would like to become their new Headteacher in September.
At the end of the day on 1st March, the students will be introduced to members of the Trust Board and representatives from the Local Authority, and will give their feedback from their interviews.

On 7th February, Year 10 pupils prommoted and managed a professional basketball game between the Everton Tigers and the Worcester Wolves at the Liverpool Echo Arena. More
The science VLE is now up and running! All GCSE students can now access the science community and download resources, practice exam papers, links to useful websites and more.
You can get your password from your science teacher and start revising today. You can find an instruction sheet on how to use the VLE on the science page of the school website. MoreHuge congratulations to the following students who were presented to Shorefields Governors on Thursday because of their outstanding attitude and approach towards their education.
The Governors were delighted with all students and felt that they were true ambassadors for Shorefields and should be rightly proud of their achievements. Some of the students had only recently arrived at Shorefields (and joining a new school mid term is especially hard) yet they had settled in remarkably well and were all making a positive contribution to the school

Whilst we were there we visited the Barcelona Nou Camp stadium and Gaudi's Sagrada Familia cathedral. Many pupils enjoyed the evening disco at Moby Tropics and the day trip to Port Aventura theme park. More
On Tuesday the 14th December 32 of our students went to the Royal School for the Blind to perform a Christmas Concert. More
For the first time this year students from year 11 and 12 have been given the opportunity to study a BTEC in Child Care at Shorefields. More
7.3 with the help of Mrs Sweeney have been working to understand what bullying is and how it can make life miserable for young people who are victims of bullying.
