Shorefields is defined by the school slogan of "Work Hard! Be Kind!"
We are totally committed to ensure the school is a 'will do' environment. By this we mean that we are not developing a 'can do' culture; this supposes there is a possibility of some students opting out and not achieving the ultimate success possible. Our vision is 100% positive! Everyone WILL achieve.
No excuses! We come from many varied backgrounds. We face barriers and obstacles in our lives that we MUST overcome. Shorefields helps everyone and offers every opportunity in class and in the wider school environment to ensure the attainment not only matches expectations but is excelled.
We operate a NO EXCUSES culture - all students will have respect for themselves and everyone else in the school community. All students will work to the very best of their capacity in all and every lesson - NO EXCUSES and NO EXCEPTIONS. Everyone has the duty and obligation to project a positive approach on all around them.
In Shorefields we celebrate success, we take pride in honesty, integrity, decency and community.
Students will demonstrate in all of their learning and all of their relationships DIGNITY, TOLERANCE, COMMITMENT, SELF BELIEF, CONFIDENCE and RESILIENCE.
